A Year in Review....


As we get ready to embark on a wonderful new year in the art studio of Cramp Elementary school, lets take a look at some of the amazing work created last year.



Popsicle Stick Architecture


This lesson gave Kindergarten and first grade students an introduction to architecture. Students used popsicle sticks, paint, and oil pastels to create their own original buildings. Look at these vibrant colors!








Shooting Shapes: Using Line to Show Motion

Students in second and third grade used a variety of lines to create the illusion of motion in these dynamic illustrations!










Underwater Seascapes

 Students in 3rd and 4th grade used a variety of lines to create motion in these "Underwater Seascapes". Check out these amazing lines and details!











Paper Mache' Sweets!

Students in Art Club creates these sculptures of yummy treats using the process of paper mache' (and real sprinkles!)










Goldfish Still-Life Collages
(inspired by Henri Matisse)

Students in Kindergarten and first grade created these mixed-media collages inspired by Matisse's piece "Goldfish". We used paint, glue, and crayons to create a variety of colors, textures, and patterns.
